On my last trip to The Line in New York I had to admire the Steamline Luggage they had on display. The smart design with contrast leather trim harken back to the days when travel was an elegant affair, long before security lines and mandatory shoe removal. I’m old enough to remember when people would dress well to board a plane, once on the drinks flowed and people lit up at will. I don’t miss the smoking on board but I do miss the more civilized tone that air travel once had. Why not add a bit of elegance back to air travel with an upgrade of luggage?
