This year the Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Windows pay tribute to some of our most beloved New York cultural institutions. Last year’s theme was a celebration of the glory and fantasy of the natural world. Though this year’s theme is closer to home, don’t worry, there’s still plenty of wit and creativity to enliven what are undoubtedly the best holiday windows in New York. It takes a small army of talented artisans nine months to hand build the hyper detailed vignettes for each window. It’s well worth the trip to 5th Avenue between 57th and 58th Street. After dark is the best time to fully appreciate the spectacular Bergdorf Goodman holiday windows in all their glory. If it’s not too late grab a drink at the beautiful Kelly Wearstler designed BG Restaurant on 7 and get that Christmas spirit flowing.
