Perhaps fashion is undergoing a cleanse after the collective hangover from a rough 2016. The purity of white is the perfect canvas on which to project our hopes and dreams for the New Year. The couture shows in Paris have embraced white for night with some of the most sublime looks of the week.
It’s worth noting the couture show of one that took place last week at the inauguration. All politics aside Melania Trump looked stunning in her all white Hervé Pierre custom made column. Her choice of designer and dress couldn’t have been better. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Hervé at Carolina Herrera, where his talent, creativity and kindness were evident in everything he touched. I’m delighted for my friend and can’t wait to see what he’ll do next. He’s a talent to watch!
