Two years ago I consulted for Narciso Rodriguez and witnessed first hand his intellectual approach to design. He casts a wide net for inspiration, culling from the world of art, nature, and whatever else captures his fancy at the time. Then the process of distilling the disparate elements into his collection begins. His work is very personal and disciplined, he digs deep and it shows. This Narciso Rodriguez resort collection is no exception. I’m particularly drawn to the soft asymmetric skirts that fall to mid calf worn with body conscious tops. It’s worth it to see the entire collection at vogue.com.
