I love the look of these Balenciaga boots. They’re sleek, modern, and practical as I see it. I tend to shy away from wearing skirts in the winter because of the difficulty in finding the right shoe and hose. I’m not hardy enough to brave the elements with bare legs and tights with heels can look pedestrian. Boots or booties fare better but I like the tights to match the boots, which can pose a challenge when it’s anything other than black. Come next fall I may have to try these out. Grant it I may be a little late to this party, after all Demna Gvasalia showed something similar on the Vetements runway a year ago but this version is more refined or maybe I’m just ready for it now. Is it heresy to wish that Zara would do their own version in multiple colors that would make it easy to experiment? Just saying…
