Street Style Stars of a Certain Age

Natalia Joos Phil Oh

Sure it’s easy to be a street style star when you’re a model running from show to show, hair and makeup courtesy of the last show you did, gifts from adoring designers and a fat pay check to fill in the blanks, or a young, pretty blogger with a suitcase full of freebies. I’m more interested in professional women who have been working for 2-3 or 4 decades. They’ve seen trends come and go and after a while most have learned what works for them, makes them feel good and enables them to get through their day as smoothly as possible. With all the attention to age, weight and race diversity on the runway, it’s time to do the same for street style stars. The women pictured here all nail it.
