If you buy only one boot this fall, the most versatile and wearable boots you can count on are flat ankle boots in black. What I’m calling a refined biker boot looks great this fall with long skirts or romantic long dresses. If you prefer something less heavy go for a refined jodhpur boot. They all look great with jeans or skinny pants as well as cropped trousers. Flat boots are great for walking; just make sure you buy them on the large side for extra comfort.
