Lately I’ve been feeling the need to get back to the tried and true fashion classics. Shoes of late have been all over the map, from platforms to flatforms and trainers. They’ve also been highly decorated with everything from stones to feathers and although that’s been fun I think it’s time to take it down a notch. A classic pointed toe kitten heel is just what we need right now. They’re sexy and look great with ankle baring pants and skirts of all lengths. I also love that mid century film star vibe a kitten heel brings to a look, think of Hitchcock’s heroines, or the Italian film star Monica Vitti. Mobility in a refined shoe is also very appealing.
