The Eyes Have It

It’s holiday party time and as I hinted at in an earlier post, Party Like It’s 1999, I’m feeling for a more dramatic eye. This is not to be taken lightly, done wrong you can end up looking like a drag queen or worse older. First step, take to the web for inspiration. Googling dramatic eyes was too banal, I want glamour, attitude so I went straight to the dramatic eye source, Sophia Loren. No one can touch her when it comes to a statement eye, her oversized almond shaped eyes are the standard to which all others are held and she’s held that standard for over fifty years! Needless to say the Internet runneth over with great eye images á la Loren. Here are just a handful of my favorites.  I’ll experiment at home but may have to seek the help of a makeup professional; I’ll let you know!

Not the best eye shot but love how her scarf is tied. Definitely try this at home!
