Chic Camouflage Accessories for Stormy Weather

Camouflage The Sartorialist

Last Friday I wrote about Chic Rainwear for Stormy Weather. I don’t know why, maybe it’s the impending change of seasons or possibly the need to feel ready for anything given the current political climate, but I’m still thinking about preparedness.

Now I feel the need for a sturdy, waterproof tote bag. I spotted a very chic woman on the street in a white eyelet dress carrying a camouflage tote. I decided I had to have one. There was something very interesting about the juxtaposition of the eyelet against the camouflage that took the look to the next level. My search for the perfect camo tote began and ended at LL Bean. The medium size tote is perfect for carrying all my necessities on a rainy day and the fabric is fully waterproof. Mine will be monogramed, though the color is still undecided. Below are my favorites, Please help me out and vote for your favorite.

Camouflage is by now a fashion staple. Though I was never a fan of camo pants, there’s something too literal about them, I’ve always liked camouflage accessories and even a smart camouflage jacket. This Hershel camouflage rain hat would look great with a black or classic khaki raincoat and protects hair from the insidious, hair killer, humidity.

This J. Crew camouflage jacket would be a perfect transitional jacket. Right now I would wear it with white and later with denim or black. I love all the above mentioned with the Willa rain boot from last week’s post.
