Today would have been Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’s 87th birthday. She was one of the most fascinating people of the twentieth century. Admired for her style and revered for her strength of character, intelligence and sharp wit. It’s not surprising to me that she was a Leo, a creature of summer. In honor of her birthday I’ve gathered photos of Jackie in summer. She clearly loved the outdoors and enjoyed the water evident in the images. A quote of hers I read years ago has always stuck with me, she said and I paraphrase, why would I write a memoire, I would much rather be outdoors. Happy birthday Jackie, you are missed.
