Pajama Party

The brand For Restless Sleepers or FRS, is my new obsession. The collection of silk printed pajamas and lounge inspired clothes are chic and refined enough for an important evening or day look and if you’re that kind of person even for sleeping. For me the classic men’s pajama inspired tops and pants in matching or complimentary prints are a fun and festive party look that’s sure to stand out in a sea of dresses. For day I’d wear the pant with an oversized cashmere sweater or the top paired with a trouser and big cardigan.   The fabrics and prints all come from the Como region of Italy, which has a long and proud history as producer of the world’s finest printed silks. Francesca Ruffini, a native of Como, is the designer and founder of FRS. The collection was born of her own desire for comfort and elegance and her habit of changing into beautiful pajamas when she returned home each day. Ruffini’s worldliness and refined Italian sense of style are apparent in the colors, prints and proportions of the first three FRS collections.

FRS The Sartorialist
This image from the Sartorialist caught my eye a few weeks ago. I love everything about how this woman looks and just now realized she’s in FRS.

Right now is a great time to get to know FRS, Farfetch has a wide selection, much if it on sale and The Outnet. What better way to spend Black Friday than in the comfort of your own home shopping for chic pajamas online! Also read an interview with Francesca Ruffini in French Vogue here.
