Shopping online or otherwise may be the furthest thing from your mind right now after the buying frenzy that is the holidays, not to mention all the sales we’ve been tempted with for the past month. But as sure as it will get warm again in the spring, the appetite for shopping will return and when it does I suggest you check out Need Supply Co. I accidentally came upon the online retailer, as one does on the Internet, and was intrigued to find many of the same brands touted in A Look Back at the Best Independent Luxury Brands of 2017.
Need Supply Co began as a store in Richmond, VA selling vintage Levi’s in 1996. They evolved into men and women’s clothing and in 2008 launched their online store. Need Supply Co has a distinct point of view and well-curated selection that sets them apart. The mood is casual minimalism with a dose of forward trending details thrown in. There’s definitely a cool, in the know vibe going on without feeling pretentious. The selection is extensive and the best part is they carry great emerging brands that you may otherwise not be able to find. Also worth mentioning their prices start at moderate and go up to Marni. This online retailer is especially useful for the weekend wear with edge category, without spending a fortune. And for those of you not put off of shopping just yet, their sale has great merchandise I haven’t seen elsewhere. Here a few of my picks.
