When I’m outside I feel naked without my sunglasses. I credit my year- round use of them to the preservation of the delicate skin around the eyes, compared to more exposed neighboring areas. Retro cat eye shapes and what I call bitch glasses are what I gravitate toward; think Anouk Amie in La Dolce Vita. I also love futuristic 60s wraps a la Audrey in Two for the Road, which I’m still searching for.
You can never have enough sunglasses. I’ve had glasses lay dormant for years then suddenly they become my new favorites again. And unlike shoes and clothes they’re easy to store.
