I get it, Alessandro Michele is a fearless mix master, but his 117-look Gucci resort show could have withstood a bit of editing. There are passages of fearless inspiration to be sure, and if one deconstructs the often overly eclectic ensembles some very solid pieces emerge. That said, in my humble opinion (and admittedly I tend to think practically as in what can I actually wear in public) I think the fashion press would do Michele a service by asking him to apply a little discipline to his creativity.
