This story was originally posted last May but with another Memorial Day Weekend upon us thought it was worth a second look.
With Memorial Day Weekend just a few days away I felt the need to gather inspirational summer images to get me in the mood. It’s been so cold and rainy in New York my mind and wardrobe hasn’t taken the leap yet.
In an effort to simplify my life I’m considering a limited palette of black and white. After gathering the following images I’m convinced this is the way to go. I like it so much I want to redo my entire apartment in black and white; though I think I’ll just start with the wardrobe. Perhaps I need a cleanse after the riot of color and pattern favored by the big fashion houses lately and summer is the perfect time for a fresh start.
