This is the weekend look I wish I had for days filled with meeting friends for drinks and strolling around the city. I have always been a sucker for brown and white, there’s something crisp, refined and less obvious than navy and white or even black and white, though I love those too. Together these brown and white picks make a strong statement but each piece easily stands on its own merits, guaranteed to serve throughout the spring and summer for many weekends to come.

Lemaire is an interesting independent collective working out of Paris that I’ve had my eye on. This brown cotton top has lots style without getting too fussy.

I’m a huge fan of the fit and quality of Joseph pants, this slim but relaxed fit pant is perfect and the waist hits at just the right place.

It’s okay to give your cat eyes a rest now and then. This outfit begged for classic, mid-century, wayfarer shaped sunglasses and I like how they keep in check the whimsical earrings.

Currently I’m obsessed with Jacquemus. Everything he touches is filled with a joyous attitude and lust for life. These mismatched earrings instantly bring a spirit of fun to the look without sacrificing sophistication.

Muun is an ethically minded, artisanal French handbag company that uses natural materials and dyes. The canvas interior bag is removable, but for this look I like the bit of stripe peeking out.

These Gucci loafers have a Rat Pack, Las Vegas feel to them that I love, I prefer the loafer but if you like mules the back is collapsible giving you options.
